Individual Grants
These are aimed at homeowners who are looking for individual energy upgrades and are willing to manage their own project, to apply for the grant themselves and to pay for the full cost of works and claim grants afterwards. Homes must have been built and occupied before 2011 for insulation and heating controls and 2021 for heat pumps and renewable systems.

This is an option for homeowners who want multiple energy upgrades to upgrade to a minimum B2 BER and are looking for a fully managed solution including grant applications and payment net of grants. Homes must have been built and occupied before 2011 for insulation and heating controls and also for heat pumps and renewable systems.

The energy audit process involved the following

– Energy retrofit analysis with 3 levels of retrofit packages assessed in each case.
– Retrofit calculator sheet showing the results of the analysis and giving costs of retrofitting, energy savings and payback time.
– Descriptive brochure for each of the eight house types with key results from the retrofit analysis.
